This event took place on Sunday, January 25th 2009. I missed out in this last year, but wanted to make sure I was to attend this year. This is a event where you had 1 hour to complete and frame a drawing or painting. Afterwards, it was auctioned off to the highest bidder. I decided to draw a bunny with charcoal. It was 2.5"x3.5" on white Bristol paper. Whatever your work goes for the Aids Coalition got half and you get the other half. I was so happy to say my piece auctioned off for $175. That made my day. I am very pleased to say that I appreciate all people who buy and purchase my art. Along with this event, we could also bring 2 additional pieces of art to sell. I entered a miniature painting of my japanese magnolia(3"x4") & a bull painting(3.5"x2.5"). Both of these also sold. Cant wait to start painting again. Keep a check out for more and more new art.
